The firm

• Fifth Dimension Architects was established in 1995 and is based in Kampala, Uganda.
• In addition to a highly qualified directorship, the practice has over fifteen full – time staff in its employ, comprising professionals, technicians and administration staff ranging from secretarial through to clerical
• So as to always provide a personal touch and high standards of design & service:
  • we maintain a staff level of not less than twelve and no more than twenty five
  • we limit the clients we serve in line with these staff levels
• Students on industrial training are constantly engaged in our offices to attain practical experience.
• Regular international travel & subscriptions to international journals/magazines/books ensure that the firm keeps abreast with the latest local and international design trends.

Professional relationships

• Over the years, we have developed strong relationships with specialist consultants, contractors, specialist subcontractors and material suppliers.
• We have established informal association with other practices in Kenya, South Africa and Dubai, who we can rely on to, provide additional manpower and resources when required.
• In addition to works in Uganda, the practice has undertaken projects in Kenya, Rwanda and Zimbabwe.

Our facilities

• We are fully computerised and use the latest in Information Technology and Computer Aided Design tools.
• in addition, we have all the necessary plotting, printing and scanning required for presentations and construction information

• Registered with the Architects Registration Board of Uganda (ARB)
• Registered with the Board of registration of  Architects and Quantity Surveyors of Kenya.
• Member of the Uganda Society of Architects (USA)
• Member of the  Architectural Association of Kenya (AAK)
